Course Outline & Description

Please note the new course & staging area recently approved by The City of Portland. This will allow the event to take place rain or shine.

Overview

The current approved course is a 1.50 mile loop weaving through the Eastern Promenade. The loop combines natural and man made obstacles. The Start/Finish area is located adjacent to Kiley Softball Field with the staging done on the road. The Finish is just beyond the start area to allow a sprint.

Parking

Available along the Eastern Promenade, & throughout the East End. Parking areas noted on course Map. Volunteers will be stationed directing participants upon arrival. The section between Loring Memorial and Walnut St will be open for bike race parking only. Once your car is parked at this area it can be moved at any point throughout the day.

Team Tents

Teams can set up EZ-Ups and 10 x 10 tents along the Eastern Prom on the grass areas listed in Map 2. If there is space cars can be parked adjacent to these areas. If there is not space, equipment can be dropped and plenty of parking is available in the East End.
