A big thanks to all the racers that came out on Saturday for our 2nd Annual event! There was a great racing vibe throughout the day as riders from across New England braved the inconsistent weather reports. We were treated to a gorgeous sunset and some killer BBQ food from Craig Lorcarno. Congrats to Chris Gagnon for the overall Solo win! East Coast Love won the coed 2 person division and a sweet Cannondale hard tail via the championship raffle. A big thanks to our sponsors: Cannondale, Littleton Bike & Fitness, Bicycle Express & Re-Cycled Sports, & OA Centers for Orthopedics. The Millstone Trails Association ($250 Race Donation) and Pierre Couture also deserve huge accolades for creating a top notch trails system that caters to all types of mountain bikers. We hope to see everyone and their friends out in Websterville next Summer for year 3!

Thank you to the 90 participants that came out to our first race at Millstone! People arrived throughout the day & evening on Friday to set up camp in the field adjacent to the race course. The rain cleared up overnight and left a cloud cover and breeze the next day that kept the temperatures ideal for endurance racing. There were some fantastic races that day including the Solo, 2 Person, & 3 person Men's categories. The closest race of the day was the 4 person Coed category as /Mullet's Nate Crooker came in with less than 10 seconds before the cut-off of 8:00 PM giving Billy Vandervalk the last lap to take 1st place! The kids race & Little Bike Madness provided us with some entertainment during the day and early evening. A special thanks to the Millstone Trails Association, Pierre Couture, Cannondale, Littleton Bike & Fitness, Bicycle Express, and all our great volunteers....we couldn't have asked for a better inaugural year!
Happy Trails,
The crew at Casco Bay Sports
