Join us for my annual fall A.T. trail maintenance trip on the weekend
of October 2 &3. We will be replacing the main span of bridge
over the stream in Arnold Bog. We'll need a few volunteers to help
carry the pre-cut logs to the site and replace the old ones that have
been there since 1995. If time allows we'll head south on the trail
another half mile and re-constructed an old causeway. Also, the last
of this year's A.T. thru-hikers may be on the trial. I'm planning my
usual Saturday night feed for the hikers. Hopefully we'll get to hear

Join us Wednesdays for some killer bowling at the New Bowl Portland Facility! Teams & Individuals Welcome!
The Presumpscot River Preserve is an amazing place in the fall. The
leaves fall non-stop and there's so many colors! It's like something out
of a fairytale, and almost surreal. A truly beautiful experience.
Meet at the trailhead and plan to walk on dirt/muddy trails. We'll
walk to "the falls" about a mile away, then go back the same way. A
total of two miles.
Wear good shoes (the terrain is somewhat rough), and bring a camera if you like.
Please RSVP by October 16 (or the event will be canceled).
