for an exciting downtown winter race - The PolarBear 5k! The race runs
in conjunction with Portland's outdoor WinteRush Festival. A great
training goal for mid-winter, the PolarBear 5k offers athletes the
choice of purchasing a high-quality race t-shirt. This keeps the entry
fee low, while offering a great custom shirt to athletes who want one.
Highlights include:

• Indoor facility at the venue for the registration, food, and awards
• Police-controlled intersections

• A fun, scenic course that starts off downhill and follows the coast
