On March 3rd 20 teams participated in our 3rd Annual Winter Challenge Dodgeball Tournament @ The Breakwater School. (Click here for complete recap).  Proceeds from the tournament amounted in $400 for the Mitchell Kessler Scholarship Fund.  Thanks to all the teams for a great day!

For the first annual Old Port Hoopla basketball tournament, Casco Bay Sports has partnered with the City of Portland to produce the event at The Ocean Gateway Terminal.  This venue will provides a beatiful back drop, convenience to old port commodities, and allows for future growth.

Our first donation of the Year to The Mitchell Kessler Scholarship Fund comes in the form of $350 from The POrtland Dodgeball League based on 35 teams registered in our second Winter Session!

Casco Bay Sports: Where Competitive Sports & Social Networking Meet in Maine, Dispatch Magazine, February 10th, 2012

A new scholarship fund has been created by Portland's Parks & Recreation Department. This fund allos Portland's less fortunate youth the ability to participate in recreational opportunities through The City's Summer Camp Program.  Casco Bay Sports has mad an initial contribution through the sport of dodgeball.  With our Monday, Tuesday, & thursday participation at 35 teams, $350 or $10 per team was donated.  Thank you for supporting the sport of dodgball, Casco Bay Sports, and subsequently this new youth scholarship fund.
